LA Chinatown

Syd and I went to Chinatown this afternoon to walk around a little bit. It is much smaller than Chinatown in SF and what is funny about it is there were very few Chinese people. I did enjoy seeing the buildings and my favorite part were all the lanterns hung up from building to building. Syd even got to speak Chinese, which totally made his day.

I tried Mochi for the first time, which is ice cream balled up in a gummy type case. Not for me, the texture of the outside was too slimy. I'll stick to the strawberry cake I ordered.
