We drove down the foggy coast to Monterey this morning. We started our day at the Aquarium, with tons of other families with small children. It was packed! Kai enjoyed all the exhibits and putting his hands in all the water ponds. It was cool to see the jelly fish, and watch the big fish get fed. I think the ultimate highlight were the otters! They are so cute and playful. We saw a few off the coast too.
We walked around Cannery Row, ate lunch, and Kai played on the beach while Vanessa and I fended off sea gulls. We ended the day at the Dennis the Menace Park before having dinner downtown at a restaurant that was on Diner, Drive in’s, and Dive on the Food Network.
Fun little road trip so far!
