Pumpkin Run

I volunteered at the water station today at the HMB Pumpkin Run. I got to the trial this morning at 6:30, before the sun came up. My head lamp came in handy!

I learned that when you give out water to runners, you hold your palm out flat so the runner can quickly grab it. This is the fastest and best way not to get splashed, but after three hours, my forearms were tired!

Me with Ken, mine and Syd’s workout buddy.

Sun coming up over half marathoners.

It was a beautiful morning for a run, and it was fun to watch the sun come up. I would do it again.
