We are homeowners

It has been a rollercoaster month and a half, but Syd and I closed on our first home today! Our loan went through this morning and they officially changed the title to our names this afternoon. 

The Whale House is in Moss Beach, a block away from the Marine Reserve. We have to have some work done and painting next week and we plan to move in the week of Thanksgiving. We are really excited! Thank you to our families for all the encouragement and support. Home buying is not for the faint of heart. 

The sellers are still in the house until Thursday so we can’t pick up the keys until then. When that happens we will take an official photo, but for now here is one of me and the whale that is mounted on the house. It is one of the reasons why we liked the house!
