Walk on the Coast

We spontaneously walked from our house along the coast to Ross Cove in the harbor. It was low tide, and the beach was exposed the whole way.
Walking at low tide.

Usually we see this monument from the cliffs, never seen it from this angle before.

There were a number of car engines and rusty car parts. Made us wonder how many people had driven over the cliff...

Sitting on a log with erosion behind us.

Clam fossil!

Lindsay made an offering to the Ohlone Native Americans whose land we walked on. We have been learning about the importance of acknowledging that land was stolen from the native people here.

Fun walk! We started wearing our winter coats and ended in tshirts. I think it was about a five mile round trip.
