Hi from Kauai!

We flew to Kauai last night and had our first full day here today. We spent time at the beach and got our bearings today, getting set up for our two week stay. 
Syd surfed first thing.

Then we went for a little hike. 

I had the beach to myself this afternoon while enjoying my book. 
Today ended with a rainbow over Poipu beach. 

Kauai is our home base, but we are planning to take a side trip next week to the Big Island. I am excited to go to Volcano’s National Park, I haven’t been there since I was a kid. Syd has to work a few days this week so we will see where the days take me!
