The main event of today was the San Diego Board Show at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Board shapers from all over California come to show off their coolest designs. The hall is full of surfers who are totally stoked!

Most of them are actually pieces of art.
They do a shaping contest where shapers have 40min to shape a board and then it is judged. It’s pretty impressive to watch them shave the foam down so quickly!

Cool to see. We didn’t come home with any boards and I feel like we got lucky!
