4th of July Parade

Today we were the Grande Marshals of the HMB 4th of July Parade. My team arrived early this morning to decorate our float pulled by Farmer John, a local farmer and councilmen. Before the parade started the Mayor came over to shake all the girls hands and give them certificates. It was pretty cool!

As we rode down the parade route we waved and threw candy. It was fun to see our families and friends in the crowd. Our float stopped briefly in front of City Hall and they announced our championship team. 

The girls were really happy and had a lot of fun. They even considered doing another lap down the parade route. Definitely a great way to top off our incredible season.
