Kilauea Lighthouse

This morning we visited the Kīlauea Lighthouse. It is a wildlife refuge that has a lot of birds and sea animals. The Lighthouse is on a point and the coves on both sides attract whales and dolphins. There is also a surf break that Syd likes a little bit to the north.

The Lighthouse.

The mini island on the end of the point.

Syd looking for whales. We saw a few!

Kauai’s sleeping giant is opposite the point. Her head is on the left, see it? She is laying down.
