One of our students was interested in where our drinking water comes from. It just so happened that a construction crew was connecting a new house to the city water system so every day this week we walked by and saw the different steps in the process. We watched the digging, the booking up to the sewer, and hooking up to drinking water.
We spent some time at the beach everyday.
The students learned how to pump gas!
We watched the progression of this mural. The artist is local and we talked to her a few times. Her goal is to finish by Pumpkin Festival in October.
It was a busy week!
