Made it to the Weekend

It had been a crazy week! The storm was intense in Moss Beach. We lost power for 28 hours because of numerous down trees and power lines in our neighborhood. 
Here I am cooking dinner by headlamp on the stove. Thank goodness we have gas!

The wind had 50mph+ gusts and you could feel the house shake. It was loud too!

The next morning we walked around the neighborhood to see the damage. The most surprising was a tree fell and took out the bridge to the Marine Reserve. Tree vs. steel and the tree won! Not sure what we will do for CLA. This is the bridge we use everyday. The reserve is closed for now, and we will see for how long we will have to find a new place to hike. 

Today was dry, but another storm is headed our way tomorrow and Monday. Hoping we keep power this time.
