One for The Birds

This morning I went for a morning walk around the reserve and saw the Osprey. It had caught a big fish! 
This photo is cool because you can clearly see the fishtail. 

Then with CLA we hiked around the Pescadero Marsh. I spotted a bald eagle land in the tree up ahead in the trial. Our students were almost to the trees and we told them to look up. Turns out there were two bald eagles!!!

In the tree. They are so big and majestic looking! It was amazing to be this close to them. 

And then after lunch someone scared all the seagulls in the water. They flew right over me, swirling and squawking. 

My odds were not great and one pooped on my leg. Ugh. 

But it was a very cool bird day!!
