Pakala

Today we went to the beach at Pakala. It is a hidden beach in the west side of the island, which is great because very few tourists go there! 

To get to the beach, you have to know where to stop along side of the highway. It’s not marked at all, and this sketchy fence is the entrance. 

Then you walk down the trail through the trees for about a quarter mile. 
Keep going past the gun tree. 
And then you come out to a beautiful cove!

To the right of the rocks is a reef break. Syd loves the left break!

And I chilled and watched for turtles popping up. 
Always a nice afternoon at Pakala.
