UCLA vs. Tennessee

I went to the UCLA vs. Tennessee game with Sabrina. We were both really excited to see Tennessee's coach Pat Summitt in person. She is the all time most winningest coach in NCAA basketball history (men's and women's) and is one of the most renowned female coaches in the world. We sat right behind her too!

The game was sold out and packed. I think there was a lot more orange in the gym today than UCLA blue. Tennessee has a huge fan base that travels around the country with the team. The fans LOVE their Lady Vols and they made sure everyone at UCLA knew it.

Tip Off

Tennessee is ranked #6 this season, so it was bound to be a blow out. UCLA lost, as predicted, but it was a fun atmosphere in the gym and we really enjoyed ourselves. Sabrina sat in the stand with a note pad and pen taking notes on things to do with her team. I cheered and was in awe of how good of athletes the Tennessee players were. UCLA is a good team too, but not on the same level as Tennessee who is in the running for a National Championship this year. UCLA had a lot of tall girls, but Tennessee is HUGE and they can all run and jump. You can tell the coaches only recruit certain types of players.

Next game is after Christmas and they start Pac-12 play. Looking forward to the games.
