The girls played awesome today! We had our first official game today and it lasted 8 innings before the umpires had to call the game for darkness. The final score was 4-4 and I think if we had 10 more minutes of daylight we could have pulled out a win. The girls got clutch hits and our defense was solid. Hailey pitched a great game against some big hitters.
I am so excited for our season because this was a great start for us. We are only going to get better from here and all the players have really bought into the idea of everyone contributing.
Our next game is on Thursday. Can't wait to see what this group will do next!
