The big gray building is Syd's office building

Today was the CicLAvia festival in Pasadena. CicLAvia is an organization in the LA area that is promoting healthy lifestyles, biking, and use of public transportation. They have been doing the festivals all over, but today they blocked off all the main streets in Pasadena for biking or walking only. I rode my bike down Colorado this morning before it was very busy, but it was cool to see all the people in the street on bikes. The local businesses were packed and some people set up booths with free giveaways  along the way.

The streets are staying closed until 4:00 today so I am watching the crowd from our window while watching the college World Series. The festival feels like a kickoff to summer even though Memorial Day was last weekend.
