This afternoon we went over the hill to watch a softball game at The College of San Mateo. Two HMB alums play on the team and it was fun to cheer them on. They have a beautiful turf field and impressive facilities. I remember going to softball camp there when I was a kid (where I got the scar on my chin!) and it looked nothing like it does now.
CSM played Ohlone College and it was a good match up despite the score of 7-3. Both teams had bases loaded a couple times. The pitchers were good, but not dominant, and CSM has a couple of good hitters.
Now that my team has watched softball I think they are really itching to play! Less than a week away.
