Picking out the Christmas Tree

In between rain showers my family managed to pick out a Christmas tree and get it home today. We went to our usual spot in Pacifica and found a nice looking tree.

Here we are deciding on the biggest tree in the lot.
RR and I being funny while dad straps the tree to the top of my Jeep with a surfboard rack.
The tree stood up straight with minimal prodding. RR tried to put this star on the top, but it ended up not cooperating. Good thing we have a back up star!
While looking at all of the Christmas decorations, Kristin realized she doesn't have a Christmas picture of our cat Dorffie. Poor guy was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got some tissue paper draped over him.

Last night we had about 20 friends and family members in the audience of the Nutcracker. Right when the curtain opened I heard loud cheering (that didn't happen the night before, ha), so I could tell there were people out there who knew us. It was very exciting to see everyone when the show was over. My dad, RR, and I felt like very important people. Thanks to all of those who came to support!!
