No practice today and I am feeling incredibly accomplished. I was able to cross some things off my to do list that were lingering around undone because every afternoon I am at the field. I ordered team jackets, tshirts, visors, and socks from a store called Landry's in Glendale. It is a nice family run baseball and softball shop and I am really excited about all the stuff I picked out for the team. I think the girls will like them too.
I also did some stuff around the house that I had been meaning to do this week. One of my roommates spotted a mouse running around our house (major ew), and since Josie the 3 legged hunter is miles away, I set a trap in the kitchen. Again, I stood in the vermin killing isle in Target for a good 20 minutes trying to figure out the best trap to buy. I almost bought the old fashioned trap, but this one said that the mouse will smell the peanut butter, crawl inside, and then I can just pick up the entire trap and throw it away without touching the mouse. Sounds good to me! I just hope it works as well as the package says...
