We had an exciting home game today against Flintridge Sacred Heart. The game was a come from behind extra inning game that was pretty tense toward the end, but with the heart of our line up in the box, I always feel confident.

With one out in the bottom of the 8th, Emily started the rally with a line drive. Marissa set the table with a perfect bunt that advance Emily to 3rd and she was safe at first. One out later, Kaylan came up and hit a hard ground ball up the middle to score Emily and Marissa. We won 7-5. The dugout exploded with cheers and you would have thought we won the championship game. It was so exciting!
It is nice to play at home on our own field. Two teachers, Mr. Diakof and Mr. Grindon came to our game to work the scoreboard and cheer the girls on. Very nice of them.
We are now 3-0, a great start to the season. This is a marathon week with 5 games total. One down, four wins to go.
