Coach Williams always comes up with the best ideas for batting practice. This morning she called me and asked for a balance beam. I didn't have one but I asked the gymnastics coach and she said they had all kinds of beams laying around. A couple of them were too long to fit in my car, but I found a foam one that is perfect for easy transport and practicing hitting.
The girls had a little bit of fun trying it out today and a few even asked to do the drill twice. I haven't gotten a chance to do a cartwheel on it yet, but I am hoping that will happen tomorrow. Let's hope the weather stays dry.
