Pompeii Exhibit

Syd and I went to the Pompeii exhibit at the California Science Center. We enjoyed seeing the ancient Roman artifacts and learning about Mt. Vesuvius. Did you know that when it erupted an entire bay and river was lost? Within 24 hours the area was completely destroyed.

The exhibit was cool, until the last part and we discovered the bodies preserved by lava and ash, were actually plaster and replicas. I felt a little lead on. More reason to go back to Italy and see it for myself!

The best part of going to the museum was the photo they took of Syd and I playing with swords.
