Headed to Valencia

Before we said goodbye to V in Barcalona, we walked around the Mercado and also went to the history of chocolate museum. The museum tickets were chocolate bars, and I was super disappointed when I found out the were dark chocolate. 

The museum had many different chocolate statues, from dragons and lizards, to the smurfs, and Up. RR and I took a photo with the gecko! 

My family took a comfortable train ride to Valencia, and played cards while looking at the scenery. I love traveling by train. It’s much more relaxing than flying. 

We are staying at the Westin in Valencia and it is a super nice hotel. It feels very luxurious. The rooms are huge, and the bathrooms are marble, I think? It really makes you feel like you are living large on vacation. 

We had a big pan of paella in the old city for dinner, and it was delicious!

 I’m excited to go back and explore more tomorrow. Valencia feels different than Barcelona, big white buildings, much warmer, and more palm trees. Looking forward to seeing all the sights!
