Syd bought some mango flavored oranges at New Leaf to try. I took a bite today and the flavor wasn’t bad, but I was surprised that it didn’t have that tangy citrus flavor. Lindsay has pH paper in her science lab so I made the hypothesis that the mango orange was less acidic than the mandarin orange that I also had in my lunch. We tested the juice, and it turns out, my hypothesis was right! You can see that the orange mango pH paper strip is lighter yellow than the almost red mandarin paper strip. Isn’t science cool?!
