Election Night

I felt pretty good during the day and didn’t let myself look at the news until 5pm. At 5:08 I was officially nervous and nothing was even counted yet! It really amazes me that for so many people in our county racism and opposing basic human rights isn’t a dealbreaker. But, I am keeping the faith, and finding comfort in all of the blue enclaves where I know others believe in humanity. 
We wore our shirts all day and slept in them. I am currently washing them so we can put them back on when needed. 

And now we wait. Keep the faith. Every vote counts.
