I started reading the Ohlone Way today and I am only 16 pages in and I can’t believe how much San Mateo County has changed in only 200 years. It is really interesting to read about the landscape and animals that lived alongside the Ohlone Indians. The Spanish called the tribes the Coastanoans, but the living ancestors of the Ohlone don’t like that term and find it offensive. So far the book is really interesting and I’m excited to read more.

I also made pumpkin muffins for Orange October. Go Giants!!
