We celebrated volleyball senior night on their last home game of the season. We are hoping with a win next week they will qualify for the playoffs.
On a wet evening we hosted the Sister Splash water polo game for Breast Cancer Awareness. Our team played Notre Dame Belmont and also honored the seniors in the last home game.
One of the little sisters flew the Mercy flag from the diving boards.
The water polo team was really excited about wearing pink caps and using a pink ball for the game.
It was pouring the morning of our Pink Week rally and I had to make the tough decision what to do with the event. At noon it stopped raining and we had the rally on the patio instead of the wet green. We were excited to announce that we raised almost $6,000 to donate to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation during all of our Pink athletic events!
Students wearing pink on the patio.
As tradition, students cut and donated their hair to Locks of Love at the rally. We had 25 students donate this year! This is the Mission of Mercy in action.
Arthur has been laying here behind the surfboard all week. His current favorite spot. Can you see him?
And then this morning Arthur decided to lay on my during meditation. He is a helper!
Only four weeks until Thanksgiving break. (Not that we are counting.)
