Hollywood Sign

After the rain yesterday, it was a beautiful morning for hiking in LA. The air was clean and crisp and you could see all the way to the beach from the top of the Observatory. However, the Hollywood Sign was not in full form today. The Y was a weird shade of gray and not as vibrant as the rest of the letters. I am guessing someone was refinishing it, but it was funny to catch the sign at an off time.
