Oh Christmas Tree

As an attempt to get our Christmas photos done early this year we had to get our Christmas tree today. This is the earliest I have EVER gotten a tree in my life. And it feels, well, early.

We piled in the car this afternoon and drove to our usual spot in Pacifica and Sea Bowl, only to find that their weren't any trees. And then we drove further up the freeway to a lot and they didn't have any trees set up either! Disappointed, we could have taken this as a sign, but no we drove back to HMB and found a local tree lot in the harbor.

 Almost 3 hours later, and an elongated trip up and down the coast, we brought the tree home.

 After the tree was up in the living room and straight, I put the lights on and then we lost decorating momentum. At 8PM we managed to put the ornaments on and now we are fully ready for Christmas card photos tomorrow.

And a little bonus... I liked this picture because it reminds me of my friend's Halloween costumes. The Carebears a certainly a childhood favorite of mine.
