Sabrina, Erin, and I decided we wanted to have matching kickball shoes so we did some shopping before practice today. We ended up getting sweet Adidas turf soccer cleats. My favorite part is the lime green.Most of our rec/fun league team are coaches who value practice, so I called a practice this afternoon at the Rose Bowl where we are going to be playing. I have a feeling we are the only team in the league that practiced at all. Ha. A couple of us came out and we worked on our kicks, discussed strategy, and figured out that the art of backing up throws is going to be really important. Right field could be the MVP.
I have no idea what to expect from the games next week, but I am excited for it.
