UCLA vs. Stanford

UCLA played Stanford yesterday at Pauley. I had been excited for this game all season because Stanford is so fun to watch. Of course, I was wearing my UCLA shirt, but I would have been happy with any result.

Stanford is tied for 1st in the Pac-12 and UCLA is in 3rd. It was a really close game. UCLA was only down by 2 at half time and they ended up losing 68-57. My favorite freshmen, Kari Korver shot two awesome 3 pointers in the first half, but then got elbowed in the face and had to go to the hospital to get stitches. Poor kid!

What is so amazing to watch about Stanford is that they are all on the same page the entire game. They are incredibly well coached and very team oriented. They communicate constantly and it looks like they move with one brain. They have two players who played the entire game without subs. Can you image how good of shape they are in?!

The last two regular season games are this week against USC. Looking forward to them. The season went by so fast.
