During warm ups today the sprinklers in the outfield suddenly came on. I had never seen them in use before and didn't know how to turn them off so we had to confine our practice to the infield for awhile. After switching plans to do batting practice in the cages, I was finally able to get ahold of someone who had the power to turn them off. I now have the phone number of the gardener so something like this won't happen again.
Here's to always having a plan B.
