Summer is quickly approaching and Syd and I have decided to go to Florida in June to swim with the manatees!!! I am so excited. Seeing a manatee in real life has been a bucket list item since third grade when I read a picture book called Swimming with the Manatees.Syd really likes swimming and being in water so he suggested researching where it would be possible to see a manatee up close. We found a plantation resort in Crystal River, Florida on Kings Bay that has manatee snorkel tours and two golf courses. We plan to bring our clubs, snorkel, hang out at the pool and relax. Yes, I promise to bring sunscreen. Let the count down begin!
