Today was the first day of middle school softball training. We had a good group of enthusiastic girls come out for the team. They worked really hard and had a lot of fun too. The highlight of the practice was when one of the 8th graders asked if she could say something in the team meeting. She said "it has been 18 years since we won a middle school championship. This is our year!"
I was totally blown away! With leadership and vision from the 8th grade class, this team is going to go far. I'm excited to watch them this season!
