Softball Clinic

Today we held our annual softball clinic for the Beverly Hills Softball League. We had about 25 girls come out today to learn how to throw, hit, base run, and field. I was really impressed with the enthusiasm of my varsity girls today and fun was had by all.

At the end we gathered everyone for a big base running relay race. We mixed the teams up evenly and the girls cheered their hardest while they ran the bases.

I love this tradition because it's important for the little girls to have role models and equally important for my team to learn to be role models. Building our sport has been a hot topic lately in the area and I am glad HWSB had a chance to inspire the next generation. We are always on the lookout for new Wolverines!
