Hi from KC

After an easy flight, I am in Kansas City. I am staying at the Crown Center in the middle of town. It is a huge hotel and convention center. I have a view of the pool from my room and then near the elevators I can see the downtown. Not sure which building is the ball park, but I have never seen so many Royals hats in my life!

I already made a friend, a softball coach at Northwood University in Michigan. We walked to dinner and it was fun hearing about her experiences and her team. The softball world is so small, turns out we know a lot of the same people even though we live in opposite ends of the country. 

So far so good! Looking forward to tomorrow.
