What a week!! We had 4 games this week, including hosting the second weekend of our tournament and I barley had time to think. Truth is though, we were having so much fun that it didn't matter how crazy it was.

On Thursday my team was down by 2 runs in the 7th inning, and had a come from behind win. We scrapped together some hits, and the girls had a "never say die" attitude. They proved to themselves that they can be clutch in any situation. Great teams know how to win, even when it is ugly, and that is exactly what they figured out. We are still undefeated in league!
Yesterday was the final day of the Cougar Classic. We had 4 games at our fields. My team blasted 4 home runs in 2 games and we took home the tournament championship. All of the wins were shutouts and my pitchers only gave up 4 hits. Domination was our goal and that is what we achieved.
In the real scheme of things, this was preparation for our upcoming week. We have two league games and our game on Thursday is a big one. We are playing the second place team, and a W could solidify our spot for a league championship. It is going to be fun!!
