I did two clinics for some 8u teams today in Foster City. In their league they play coach pitch for half the season, and then player pitch for the last half. Player pitching starts next week and the coaches were feeling the pressure. I hope I gave the girls some tools to throw strikes. I recognized a few girls from my clinic earlier in the year and they had improved so that was fun to see.

Pitching Today

Coach pitched, then player pitched is a good idea. When Ryan played Rec it was all player pitched and the pitchers were way advanced from the beginning bats so there was no contest. It was great for a pitcher, but nobody else got to play.
