Hawaiian Rock Garden

I checked out a Japanese Garden at a local park, and turns out they had a Hawaiian rock garden as well. Love checking out rocks!
Japanese Garden.

This way to rocks!

The tall rock was the “God’s rock” for the chief, and then the round rock in front was a place for the chief to put down his feather cape during ceremonies.

This flat rock slab was called the salt slab.

Round rock boulder that kind of looks like a bowling ball. Those were some good lava rocks. Beautiful view too!

This evening we grilled marlin and made fish tacos. I used the mangos we picked with lime and it was so good. Pretty cool using local food for dinner.
