Inspiration Platform

To officially start our CLA year, Lindsay and I went back to inspiration platform today in the Pescadero Marsh where we first started playing with the idea of educating girls in our own way. We weren’t sure what it would look like at the time, or when it would happen, but we talked about leading a camp, being outside in nature, doing yoga, and writing in journals with our students.

Nine months later here we are! Coastside Leadership Academy is way more than an idea. It is earthly! We have students and are hosting our first annual Welcome Potluck for the community we are growing tomorrow night. It is amazing what can happen when you have the courage to break away from tradition and reimagine education for girls. Exciting is an understatement and I am so grateful for this journey.
