Photos from today

We did a lot of different things today around the resort. Syd surfed in the morning, but came back early because the wind picked up. I had a nice morning meditating and journaling with an ocean front view. 
Sunrise was really beautiful. 
We rented bikes and rode them around the resort complex. There are three resorts all attached to each other on the island. 
We went snorkeling and saw some really vibrant fish and coral. The reef looked like what snorkeling in Hawaii did 20 years ago when I was a kid. It was a sad realization that this is what a healthy reef looks like and Hawaii’s is basically dead. 
After snorkeling, the boat took us to a sandbar in the middle of the ocean. It had some amazing shells and sea stars!
One Australian guy joked that blue sea stars taste like blueberries. There are lots of people from Australia and New Zealand here. 

More tomorrow. I’m listening to the waves as I fall asleep. I usually do in Moss Beach, but this is 20 feet away!
