In a couple weeks I am going camping with all the 8th graders at my school. Faculty are required to go on a retreat and I seemed to be signed up for the safest one called Alpine Medows (the other options were a week of canoeing from campground to campground on the Colorado River). I will be spending a week in a cabin in the San Bernadino mountains... So I bought this sweet headlamp! It has two settings, constant light and blink. I need to buy a ton of camping gear, because I don't own any, and this was my first purchase.
Stay tuned for camping stories to come in October. Me in the wilderness for a week with students is bound to be hilarious.
