Softball Meeting

I was so happy to play golf yesterday that I forgot to mention that I had the first softball meeting of the year at HMB HS. About 20 girls came to the meeting for info about tryouts for JV and Varsity. I was happy with the turnout and I think a few others will come out for the team too. The girls were excited about the season and the first thing I noticed was size. Most of the varsity returners were taller than me! That's a good sign for sure. 

Coaching at a public school will be a new expericence, but it is really an honor to coach in a program that has a history of a winning. Many great softball players have come out of this town and I am looking forward to continuing the tradition.
