Lake Balboa

I took my bike for a spin around Lake Balboa this afternoon. Lake Balboa is a man made lake in the middle of the Valley. You would have thought it was Memorial day instead of MKL day between the weather, the amount of people BBQing, and the brown sunburned grass.

After about 25 minutes of biking in the 87 degree weather, I got hot so I did some reading in the shade. I felt productive enough and was happy I slathered on plenty of sunscreen.
