October?

You certainly wouldn't know that it is October in LA. It was 106 today and 97 degrees at 7:00pm when I ran at the Rose Bowl. I kept asking myself why I thought it was a good idea to run outside today instead of going to the gym. Then I reminded myself that the gym in Pasadena doesn't have air conditioning and it would have been more miserable inside.

When I parked at the Rose Bowl there was a lady practicing her bagpipes in the parking lot. She was marching around while playing tunes. Totally random, but I feel kind of cheated that she wasn't wearing a plaid kilt too. If you are going to do something weird in public, you might as well go completely off the deep end.
